Life is a Rainbow of Stories!
Cookie loves telling stories to children and seniors about the animals in her life; it always seems to make people laugh. She feels that there’s no better medicine then laughter. She has taken on a new journey: writing true life animal stories. Her first book A New Year’s Family was released in July 2007. Her second book Jake the Cow Horse will be released this summer 2008.
Living on a small ranch in Montana, Cookie Grimes finds time to work and play with what she loves best. Her first love for dolls began 24 years ago. With that dream she taught herself the business of Antique Reproduction Doll Making. She owns her own business, teaching the art of making dolls. She has written articles from “How to Paint your Dolls” to “Starting Your Own Doll Business”. Her dolls have been featured in newspapers, magazines and calendars around the country.
15 Years ago Cookie’s love for horses sprouted, and with her desire she wanted to learn all she could about these creatures from God. After seven years of studying Natural Horsemanship she found there were no better teacher then the horse itself. Her education of horses over the years has led her to helping people listen to and understand their horses. Discover how she is always learning and how she has found her way to Natural Horsemanship through the eyes of her teacher, the horse.
