Life is a Rainbow of Stories!
From the Bitterroot Valley of Montana – Cookie Grimes is the author, illustrator and narrator of the children’s books Jake the Cow Horse and A New Year’s Family. She began her writing career eight years ago when she discovered she was going to become a grandma.
Cookie loves telling stories about the animals in her life; it always seems to make people laugh and cry. She feels there is no better medicine then laughter. Cookie has taken on a new journey: writing true life animal stories.
After nine years of studying Natural Horsemanship Cookie found there is no better teacher then the horse itself. Her education of horses over the years has led to helping people listen to and understand their horses better. Cookie also owns her own business teaching the art of porcelain doll making. She has written articles from “How to Paint your Dolls” to “Starting Your Own Doll Business”. Her dolls have been featured in newspapers, magazines and calendars around the country.
Cookie and her husband Steve live on a ranch in Montana with their five dogs and a host of other critters. The animals on the ranch constantly appear to be telling stories to Cookie, which she loves to share because the tales always seem to make folks laugh.
Feel free to contact Cookie for more information.
I hope you enjoy your visit!
