It’s where the magic and the memories begin!
Some of you can turn back to the time you were a kid and recall all the magic you discovered in books. All the faraway lands you traveled to, and new ideas you found. But most of all the memories of the quality time you spent with your loved ones!
Cookie loves telling stories to children and seniors about the animals in her life; it always seems to make them laugh. She feels that there’s no better medicine then laughter. She has taken on a new journey: writing true life animal stories. Her first book A New Year’s Family was released in July 2007. Her second book Jake the Cow Horse was released December 2, 2008.
It all began eight years ago; I received a Christmas card in the mail from my son Michael and my daughter-in-law Laria. There was a birth announcement in the card that said "Home Made"! There was also a picture of a sonogram. That was our Christmas gift. I was so excited; I was going to be a grandma! That day I promised myself that I would begin writing true children stories about my son Michael and the animals that were in our life, so he could share them with his family.
