Speaking Engagements

I have done inspirational speaking engagements for Educator Appreciation week at Barnes and Noble. Last fall I spent several weeks visiting Elementary, Christian, and Private Schools; teachers of all grades asked me to present an inspirational talk regarding how I began writing and illustrating children's stories. Many of the students had questions and wanted answers on how they could begin writing their own book.

My audio CD A New Year's Family was aired on Montana Public Radio, KUFM 89.1 in Missoula, Montana. The daily radio program was "The Pea Green Boat" ---the longest-running, regularly scheduled children's program in public radio---hosted by Anne Garde. Annie interviewed me, asking questions like: What inspired you to write; Why did you write about animals; What type of media did you use to illustrate your book?
